Tourism Economy and Development Association (Turizm Ekonomisi ve Kalkınma Derneği – TEKAD)
Tourism Economy and Development Association (TEKAD) is a non – governmental and non – commercial association which focuses on tourism development projects, community based tourism studies and programs (social and educational programs etc.), scientific organizations (conference, congress, symposium etc.) and publications. TEKAD has been established in January, 2015 Konya – Turkey by academic members of Necmettin Erbakan University Tourism Faculty. Members of the association have generally consisted of academicians, additionally some sectoral representatives, tourism related agents, students and local governmental members. All activities are carried out voluntarily by the members.
